Chiba robotic wheelchair turns wheels into legs
Making a wheelchair that can deal with steps and other obstacles has puzzled engineers for decades, with everything from tank treads to spokes tried and found not quite practical. Now a team of engineers from the Chiba Institute of Technology, led by associate professor Shuro Nakajima, have applied a bit of lateral thinking. They have developed a robotic wheelchair that isn't sure what it is. Normally, it operates on wheels like a conventional wheelchair, but when it meets an obstacle, the wheels turn into legs.
5 REASONS TO SAY "I LOVE YOU"
Connectivity: It connects you and your significant other like nothing else can by deepening your feelings, amplifying your bond and strengthening your relationship.
Heart Healthy: It provides your spouse or significant other with words their heart aches to hear. The heart is the iconic representation for the symbolic expression of love and is physically the organ that represents the center of life in the human body. In a figurative way, saying “I Love You” is like giving your relationship a life-enhancing heart transplant.
Trampoline Bridge concept is in-Seine
There are currently 37 bridges spanning the River Seine in Paris, but there must surely be room for one more; one that's rather different than the rest, that is perhaps inflatable and comprised of three huge trampolines. Such a bridge may not be practical, but it would be fun, and no doubt become something of a tourist attraction in a city already blessed with an abundance of tourist attractions. Such a bridge exists, at least in the form of a concept design by Paris-based architectural studio Atelier Zündel Cristea.
CONSTANTLY FEEL GOOD ABOUT YOURSELF USING THESE 3 STEPS!
CONSTANTLY FEEL GOOD ABOUT YOURSELF USING THESE 3 STEPS!
It is important that you feel good about yourself. More and more scientific evidence points towards a significant link between how you feel about yourself and your overall health and sense of well-being. Scientists have proven that feelings of inferiority have the capacity to pave the way to illness or disease. On the other hand, if you feel good about yourself, have a positive outlook, and maintain an active involvement in life, you’re more likely to be happy and healthy.
