Victoria’s secret is an American retailer which is best known for women’s lingerie. It was started in 1977 by Roy Raymond who opened his first store in Palo Alto. His basic motive was embarrassment he felt trying to purchase lingerie for his wife. In 1982 he sold the company to Leslie Werner, owner of Limited, for a sum of 4 million dollars.
